the first thing i did
after arrving at yyj
was to drive here to patricia bay
along west saanich road
to watch the sun go down
and to gather myself
after a long gruelling day
of making airline connections
between istanbul and victoria
then back to bc ferries reality
even though i arrived at swartz
at 7:35pm i could not get aboard
the undersized and overloaded
07:55pm sailing of the bowen queen
